Patricius Winery is one of the most prominent wineries in the Tokaj region. Established by the Kékessy family, it reflects a deep commitment to winemaking, blending tradition with innovation. The winery is owned by Dezső Kékessy and his daughter, Katinka Kékessy. Their ancestors, on both the paternal and maternal sides, were renowned vineyard owners in Mátraalja and the Tokaj Wine Region as early as the 18th century. The estate spans 85 hectares and includes eight historic first-growth vineyards. It is based in Bodrogkisfalud, in a beautifully renovated press house that once belonged to nobles and was featured in the Tokaj-Hegyalja Album printed in 1867. This historic building is seamlessly connected to a modern, organically designed winery with a gravity-flow system, symbolizing the harmony between tradition and state-of-the-art winemaking in the World Heritage landscape.
